DeNovix kits selectively and accurately measure dsDNA even in the presence of common contaminants such as RNA, ssDNA or protein. Combine the specificity of fluorescence with the purity measurements of absorbance on the DS-11 FX or DS-11 FX+ for the optimum sample QC procedure.
Assay Choices
DeNovix dsDNA assays cover three overlapping ranges of sensitivity. Each kit includes standards for easy set up of a two-point standard curve. DeNovix assays have a wider dynamic range than Qubit® dsDNA assays – and are more affordable. The breakthrough dsDNA Ultra High Sensitivity assay allows measurement of samples as low as 0.5 pg/µl (original sample concentration), 20x lower than the core range of the Qubit® dsDNA HS assay.
Dynamic Range
DeNovix dsDNA assays may be used on instruments other than the DeNovix DS-11 Series of fluorometers. Below are protocols and downloadable assay files (.qbt) for Qubit 2.0 and Qubit 3.0/Qubit 4 fluorometers. Note that due to limitations of their optical systems, Qubit instruments cannot be used for DeNovix Broad Range assays.
Limitations in sensitivity are outlined in the table below :

Microplates
For those labs requiring higher throughput, all DeNovix assays are also compatible with microplate formats.
